The Cast of Man of La Mancha

John Doyle (Cervantes/Quixote): John is the co-founder of Iron Age Theatre. He has a master’s degree from Villanova and specializes in graphic design, lighting design, and script analysis. John is the program director of the Barrymore nominated program, Kids: The Heart of the Arts. He acts as artistic director of the Centre Theater. He appeared as P. T. Barnum in the Centre’s production of BARNUM and as Stone in CITY OF ANGELS and directed MARX IN SOHO , now touring nationally, THE INTERROGATION OF NATHAN HALE, and DUTCHMAN. He has co-directed THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA, OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, THE ELEPHANT MAN, TUNNEL, and LUTHER. He will be directing SHAKESPLOITATON at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in September.
Jered McLenigan (Sancho) : Jered has been working at the Centre Theater since its inception. Jered has appeared with Iron Age Theatre as John Merrick in THE ELEPHANT MAN, Billy Bibbit in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, as the Beast in the bizarre SEVENTY SCENES OF HALLOWEEN, and in THE SPEED OF DARKNESS. Jered played Evans in the Barrymore nominated production of TERRA NOVA. He also appeared as Buddy in the critically acclaimed The Diviners. Jered played Nathan Hale in THE INTERROGATION OF NATHAN HALE at the Fringe Festival. Jered will appear in SKAPESPLOITATION in September.
Kate McLenigan (Aldonza): Kate McLenigan was last seen here at the Centre Theatre as Mags in the Philadelphia premiere of SKY GIRLS and also as Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Previous roles have included Ruth in BOOK OF DAYS, Jennie Mae in THE DIVINERS, and Lula in DUTCHMAN. She also serves as the scenic artist for The Centre Theatre and has painted for productions including THE ELEPHANT MAN, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE DIVINERS, OF MICE AND MEN, TERRA NOVA, and A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. She also paints murals for homes and businesses and holds a B.A. in Theatre and Fine Arts from Seton Hill College. Her mural work placed at theis year's Philadelphia Flower Show
Michael Dura (Duke - Dr. Sanson Carasco) Michael has been actively involved in theatre, film, music, dance, and radio for over twenty-five years in the Philadelphia area and elswhere. He has portrayed a variety of characters ranging from Tarzan to Thomas Becket with such companies as The Vagabond Acting Troupe, B. Someday Productions, The Brick Playhouse, Philadelphia Dramatists Center,The Drama Group, Lion Theatre, The Amici Opera Company, and Big Mess Theatre. Recent roles of note are Oberon in Vagabond's recent production of MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and his portrayal of Edgar Allen Poe in Big Mess's collaboration with the Philadelphia Orchestra in it's anual Halloween Concert at the Kimmel Center. He appears frequently in the films of Michael Zubarev, and also recently, in one by Norristown's own Tom Crognale. This July he will be singing the role of Pistol in The DEleware Valley Opera Company's production of Verdi's FALSTAFF. He was last seen here at The Centre Theatre as Carr Gomm in Iron Age's production of THE ELEPHANT MAN. Michael recieved his degree in Music at La Salle University in 1975, and later went on to study voice withe Regina Zona, Joyce M. DiDonato and Thomas Scurto-Davis. He is now a student of Enrico Di Giuseppe
Dorien Belle (Padre): Dorien returns to the Centre Theatre after last season’s production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Dorien previously understudied the role of Old Deuteronomy in CATS at the Walnut Street Theater. Other roles have included Vinnie in LUCKY STIFF, Sir Toby in TWELFTH NIGHT, Giles Corey in THE CRUCIBLE, Al Calinda in WORKING and Mr. Dussell in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. He currently holds a B.A. in Musical Theatre from Seton Hill University. He would like to thank GOD for giving him the opportunity to pursue his dream, and also to his mother and family for their undying love and support.
Krissy Johnson (Innkeeper’s Wife/Housekeeper) Krissy received a Bachelor of Music from Trinity University in San Antonio followed by a Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Houston. She then moved to New Yourk City, where she pursued a career as a professional singer and actress. Off Broadway credits include MURDERED BY THE MOB, FORGOT TEN BROADWAY, and the WWOW RADIO MYSTERY HOUR. Regional Credits include HOUDINI at the Goodspeed Opera House, ZORRO, DAVID DANCES, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Burt Reynolds Theatre in West Palm Beach, FL. A resident of the Philadelphia area for the past couple of years, she most recently performed with the Philadelphia Children’s Theatre in ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY, and this past Fall finished her first independent film, FRAYED, which will be released later this year. She is currently a member of the Philadelphia Singers, the resident chorus of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Troy Fisher (Barber/Albino Moor/Muleteer): Troy is excited to return to The Centre Theater, this time in a role where the audience will actually see his face. Previously, Troy consumed actors and audiences alike as the puppeteer in last year's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Other recent roles include OUR TOWN (George Gibbs), INHERIT THE WIND (Bert Cates), CINDERELLA (Prince), and DANCING AT LUGHNASA (Michael Evans). When not working onstage or backstage, Troy occasionally finds time to say "Good Morning" to his wife Christa.

Jude Adams (Guard/Muleteer) Jude Adams is appearing in his first show with the Centre Theater. Jude is a fourth grade teacher in the Allentown School District. He has a degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. Jude is now pursuing his masters in education at Wilkes University. He spends his free time doing theater, and singing, as well as obsessing over Philadelphia sports. Jude has appeared in many shows including; YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN(Charlie), 1776(Richard Henry Lee), BILOXI BLUES(Wykowski), RUMORS(Glenn Cooper), GODSPELL(All Good Gifts), PIRATES OF PENZANCE(Major General Stanley), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, MUSIC MAN, and many, many more.

Molly Sue Welch (Dance Gyspy/Choreographer) Molly is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland having earned a Bachelor of Arts as a Creative and Performing Arts Scholar in the Department of Dance. While at Maryland she has performed in work of visiting artists Doug Varone, Keely Garfield, Dan Wagoner, Douglas Nielson, Risa Jaroslow, Maurice Fraga, Alexander Gish, and Nejla Yatkin along with various faculty members and graduate students. She has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Millennium Stage, The Jack Guidone Theatre in Ruben Graciani and Connie Fink's evening of works Debut, Dance Place in Alvin Mayes' Paradise Project and in Daniel Singh's Songs of My Life presented by the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Molly has choreographed and performed her own solo After the Dream on Anima: Music That Moves. Molly also performed as a chorus dancer in the UMD Theatre Department's production of Sophisticated Ladies.

Frank Ferrara (Govenor/Innkepper) This is Frank's 5th show with Centre Theater. Others include Orin Scrivello D.D.S. in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Herb in GODSPELL, Clemment Musgrove in THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM, and Harry Wolf in LITTLE RED AND THE HOODS. He has been performing professionally in the Philadelphia area since 1996. Other regional credits include: Vincenzo the bull in MADCOW MUSICAL, various characters in ORPHANS IN METROPOLIS, Tony Aronica in SAVAGE IN LIMBO, and Brad in THREE WORDS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD. He has also originated the roles of Joseph Cary in the Off-Broadway production of THE WITCH OF EDMONTON, and Vinggi in the national tour of A SPECIAL GIFT(one man show he also co-wrote and directed). Favorite film credits include The Burglar in FRANK'S AND WIENERS, Jim in THE DEMO CREW, Michael in the award winning film WAITING, and an unnamed bad guy in NATIONAL TREASURE.
Melissa Rudy: (Antonia) This is Melissa's third production at the Center Theater.  She played "Rose" in the SECRET GARDEN and "Mallory" in CITY OF ANGELS.  Melissa graduated from West Chester University with her B.A. in Musical Theater.  She is the founder and director of the children's "Summer Stock" program in Glenside now in it's 12th year.  She was also the assistant director/choreographer this past winter for the Center's Children's theater presentation of Fiddler on the Roof.
Chris Graziano(Muleteer/Gypsy/Prisoner)Christopher J. Graziano is enjoying his first onstage role at the Centre though he is no stranger to the theater. Chris has done pit-orchestra work for various companies in the Philadelphia area. Some shows include THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS; HONK!; The Philadelphia Fringe Festival's highly acclaimed MAD COW MUSICAL;and a very special production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. He was most recently caught onstage at the world premiere of HALF THE RENT IN AMERICA. You may remember the sound of Chris from last season's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.
Robert O’ Neill (Captain of the Inquisition) Robert is pleased to be appearing at the Centre Theatre for the first time. He has enjoyed a varied career in theatre, film and television.
Victor Rodriguez (Muleteer/Gypsy)Victor is thrilled to join a fun and talented cast in his debut performance at The Centre Theater. Previous roles include: Prez in THE PAJAMA GAME, the bellhop in LEND ME A TENOR, and twice as his namesake in SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ. He has music directed at Society Hill Playhouse as well as other local venues. Victor is also keeping busy as the music director and vocalist in a running cabaret act, 3 FOR THE ROAD.
Ben LeVan (Muleteer) Ben Levan has acted in the Norristown Area High School's drama club for three years and been in LES MISERABLES, CHILDREN OF EDEN, SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS, and HELLO, DOLLY! He has occasionally done lights and sound for the Cultural Center, and was a part of the stage crew for last year’s musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.
Allie Fiorini (Horse, Prisoner) This is Allie’s second appearance at The Centre Theatre. She was last seen here as a puppeteer and a root in Little Shop of Horrors. She is a Freshman at Norristown High where she recently appeared in Hello, Dolly! She has previously been in Annie and Into The Woods. Allie has attended the Cultural Center’s “The Heart of the Arts” summer program for 7 years and is happy to return this summer as an intern. She is very excited to be involved in Man of La Mancha.
Stephanie Doyle (Horse, Prisoner) Steph is very pleased to be a part of MAN OF LA MANCHA. She has been in several other show at the Center Thearter including CITY OF ANGLES, HEAVEN CAN WAIT and LUTHER. Steph goes to Upper Merion Middle School and there she is a part of the Drama Club. With the Drama Club she has been in GUYS AND DOLLS JR. Steph playes the clarinet and piano and also plays volleyball. She was the sheep wrangler for the Iron Age production of CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS.
Fran Doyle (director) Fran has been directing musicals for many years. She has enjoyed bringing to audiences such productions as BARNUM, INTO THE WOODS, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and many more. MAN OF LA MANCHA is a favorite of hers and she is thrilled to share this magnificent show and this incredible cast with the audiences at The Centre Theater..

Wesley T. Stohler (Musical Director) This is the fifth season that Wes has been involved with the Centre Theater.  He has been accompanist for the last three years and is pleased to make the step up to musical director this year.  Wes is on the directing staff for the Upper Merion High School drama department.  He was recently seen as Charlie Brown in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN.

Mia A. Rotondo (stage manager) Mia has stage-managed other shows... now she is stage-managing this show. She occasionaly dabbles in onstage work, against her will.
