Meet The Cultural Center's Staff

Fran Doyle (Executive Director) has been involved in the arts for 25 years in the region. She directs musicals at several local theaters and has won a variety of community awards including the Norristown Friend of Education Award and The Martin Luther King Living the Dream Award.

Randall Wise (Technical Director) has been producing theater for more than 20 years in Phildelphia with Iron Age Theater and also works as an interpreter for Wyoming State Park Service. He is the author of the critically acclaimed "TUNNEL" and has served as director of Eastern State Pennitentiary Historic Site. He has a MA in theater from Villanova.

John Doyle (Artistic Director and Program Director Kids: Heart fo the Arts) is a PA certified English and communications instructor with masters in Theatre from Villanova University. He has been director of the program since its inception. He is co-director of Iron Age Theatre and Managing Director of The Centre Theater.

Markus Zanders (Playwriting Instructor) is PA cerified in elementary edication and a local professional actor. Markus is a graduate of Temple University and has significant theatrical and educational credits.

Nora Cheatham(Music Instructor) is NY and PA certified in Music. She has a BME from Mansfield and her MME from Northwestern University. She has worked with the Opera Company of Philadelphia and the Syracuse Opera. She has taught in Pennsylvania and New York and at the Philadelphia Academy Charter School.

Kate McLenigan (Art Instructor) is a graduate of Seton Hill College in Greensberg. She has been involved in the Kids: Heart of the Arts program since its inception. Her favorite roles have been Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and Grace Fryer in a new play Radium Girls.

Molly Sue Welch (Dance Instructor) graduated with honors from University of Maryland, College Park as a dance major. Her dance training began at the age of three and is currently under the direction of Jennifer Oldfield at the Steppin’ Out Academy for seven years. She is now dancing professionally and studying in New York.

Claire Golden Drake (Playwriting and Acting Instructor) is a graduate of University of the Arts with a BFA degree in Theater Arts. She has worked with professional theaters in and around the Philadelphia both on and off stage, and teaches theater arts and creative movement in other communities.

Franny Caulter (Acting Instructor) is a practicing actor and director in Philadelphia.

Lauren Kane (Art and Design Instructor) is a professional fabric and design artist and a recent graduate of Temple University.
