Anthony M. Giampetro (Lennie) Anthony M. Giampetro, from Bryn Mawr has acted at the Philadelphia Theatre Co., the Philadelphia Drama Guild, Philadelphia Festival Theatre and Villanova University where he last appeared as Hoss in The Tooth of Crime. Anthony appeared as Chief Bromden in the critically acclaimed One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Carter in the Philadelphia premiere of Simpatico, and Mountain in Requiem for a Heavyweight at the Montgomery County Cultural Center. Tony was last seen as Shannon in Night of the Iguana. Love to my Squirrel.
Ray Saraceni (George) is a frequent performer with Iron Age Theatre where he has been seen as Lou in The Speed of Darkness and Vinnie in Simpatico. He appeared as the Ghost/Player King in Philadelphia Shakespeare’s Festival production of Hamlet and in King Lear. He also appeared in the premire season of Arcadia Shakespeare Theater at Arcadia University. Ray won critical acclaim with his performance as Roy Cohn in Angels in America. Ray has a Master’s Degree from Villanova University and teaches theater history at Lehigh University and a freshman seminar at Villanova University.
John Fidler (Curley): Since John moved to Philadelphia a year ago, he's worked with the Azuka Theatre Collective, The Brick Playhouse and the Three-Legged Theatre Company. Before coming to Philly, he graduated from Bloomsburg University and worked with the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, the Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival and the Warehouse Theatre in South Carolina. He's looking forward to a nice, long stay in Philly.
Bob Weick (Slim) Bob is happy to be making his first appearance with Iron Age. A long time company member of The Theatre Outlet in Allentown some of his favorite stage roles include Dennis Sheppard, Doc et al,in THE LARAMIE PROJECT, Johnny in FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIRE de LUNE, Coleman Conner in THE LONESOME WEST, Queensbury et al in GROSS INDECENCY, THE THREE TRIALS OF OSCAR WILDE, Chillingworth in THE SCARLET LETTER, Josh in DIMLY PERCEIVED THREATS TO THE SYSTEM, Mike , Ronald, Skunk, in AS BEES IN HONEY DROWN. Caiaphus in 'SUPERSTAR' and conversly Jesus in last years Phila. Fringe Festival production of THE CALLING. TV appearances include episodes of Medical Detectives, Forensic Files The History Channel while film credits include featured roles in the upcoming independant films, CONSPIRICIZED and BERENICE. When not performing on stage, Bob works as a Farrier/Blacksmith , shoeing horse throughout Bucks County Pa. and Hunterdon County N.J.
Steve McLean (Candy) Steve returns to Iron Age Theater having previously been in “Coming of the Hurricane,” “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Heaven Can Wait.” Most recently, he appeared as the twins, John and James, in “Love! Valour! Compassion!” at the 2nd stage at the Adnenne. Steve would like to thank Harry "whose love and support over 26 years has made possible everything in my life"
Melissa diLeonardo (Curley's Wife) Melissa diLeonardo is a BFA graduate from Hofstra University, NY. Since relocating to Philadelphia she has worked with Philadelphia Theatre Company/Young Playwrights Festival, Walnut Street Theatre, DE Theatre Company, Theatre Catalyst's Eternal Spiral Project, and Thread Company.
lary moten (Crooks) Transplanted to Philadelphia, lary returns to acting after various "careers" including a Film Editor in "Hollyweird," a USAF TV/Radio broadcaster in Korea, and Director of Development for filmmaker Euzhan Palcy in LA and Paris. Lary has acted in college, community and professional productions in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Santa Maria, CA, Washington, DC, Hampton, Virginia, Los Angeles and back to Phillie. Recently, he has been in productions by Stages of Imagination, Vagabond Acting Troupe, Philadelphia Theater Caravan, The Brick Playhouse, The Adrienne, Hedgerow Theater, American Concert Theater, Philadelphia Dramatists Center. MY LORD, WHAT A MORNING marked lary's first appearance at Arden Theater Company. lary is also part of the ensemble performing Ed Shockley's THE JOHNSON FAMILY SAGA at the CEC and other venues. He looks forward to the playing Oral in Aisha Rahman's ONLY IN AMERICA to be mounted in 2003. Personally, lary credits and thanks his family for getting him back on stage. Professionally, he gives special props to local playwright Ed Shockley who has steadfastly believed in him when his own legs failed.
Markus L. Zanders (Carlson) Markus is pleased to be making his Centre Theater debut in this role. Although he hails from the Philly area and is a graduate of Temple University, Markus has tramped across the states performing at the Blue Ridoe Theater Festival in the Complete History of America…. Abridged and with JMTWSRKS Theater Company in Pittsburgh performing It's a Wonderful Life and Little Rock. He's also toiled as a Mad Scientist in San Diego California and can be seen in television ads across the country as "The Goodwill Guy." for Goodwill Industries. He was part of the world premiere production of I'll Be Seeing You at the Kimmel Center. Currently, he is in the middle of filming Close Quarters for Transorb Pictures.
Jared Delaney (Whit): Jared Michael Delaney is pleased to be a part of Of Mice and Men. He was recently seen as Algernon in The Importance of Being Ernest at Hedgerow Theatre. Other recent credits include the premiere season of Arcadia Shakespeare Festival performing in Much Ado About Nothing and The Tempest, Friends with Azuka Theatre Collective, King Lear with The Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival. Jared received his MA from Villanova University in 2001 and is a founding member of Asylum Song Productions. He will next be seen in The Drawer Boy at Act II Playhouse. R J Timlin (The Boss):RJ has performed with the Parkdale players in San Diego, CA in Animal Tales and in Don’t Call Me Percy, based on the Medusa myth. He appeared in Iron Age's production of Curse of the Starving Class. He is a student of Sidney Kay. R J wishes to thank his kids and friends for their encouragement and inspiration.
Katy Timlin (Candy's Dog) Katy is a vetran of the stage having appeared as Sandy in the Surflight Theater production of Annie in Long Beach Island.
Kate McLenigan (Stage Manger - Scene Painter) Kate most recently appeared in the intense Iron Age Fringe production of “Dutchman” as Lula. She is a graduate of Seton Hill College in Fine art and theatre, Kate has appeared as Grace in “Radium Girls,” Maria in “Twelfth Night,” Miss Prism in “The Importance of Being Ernest” and Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors.” and at the Centre Theatre in David Henry Hwang’s “Sound of a Voice.” She is an accomplished visial artist.
