Anthony M. Giampetro (Showers) Anthony M. Giampetro, from Bryn Mawr has acted at the Philadelphia Theatre Co., the Philadelphia Drama Guild, Philadelphia Festival Theatre and Villanova University where he last appeared as Hoss in The Tooth of Crime. Anthony appeared as Chief Bromden in the critically acclaimed One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Carter in the Philadelphia premiere of Simpatico, and Mountain in Requiem for a Heavyweight at the Montgomery County Cultural Center. Tony was seen as Shannon in Night of the Iguana and Lennie in Of Mice and Men. Love to my Squirrel.

Jered McLenigan (Buddy): Jered has been working at the Centre Theater since its inception. Jered has appeard with Iron Age Theatre as Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, as the Beast in the bizarre Seventy Scenes of Halloween, and in The Speed of Darkness. Jered played Evans in the Barrymore nominated production of Terra Nova

Kate McLenigan (Jennie Mae) Kate most recently appeared in the intense Iron Age Fringe production of Dutchman as Lula. She is a graduate of Seton Hill College in Fine art and theatre, Kate has appeared as Grace in Radium Girls, Maria in Twelfth Night, Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Ernest and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. and at the Centre Theatre in David Henry Hwang’s Sound of a Voice. She is an accomplished visial artist. Kate has acted as scene painter for the Of Mice and Men, Terra Nova, and The Diviners

Ray Saraceni (Basil) is a frequent performer with Iron Age Theatre where he has been seen as Lou in The Speed of Darkness, George in Of Mice and Men and Vinnie in Simpatico. He played Amundsen in Terra Nova. He appeared as the Ghost/Player King in Philadelphia Shakespeare’s Festival production of Hamlet and in King Lear. He also appeared in the premire season of Arcadia Shakespeare Theater at Arcadia University. Ray won critical acclaim with his performance as Roy Cohn in Angels in America. Ray has a Master’s Degree from Villanova University and teaches theater history at Lehigh University and a freshman seminar at Villanova University.

Linda Palmarozza (Norma) This is Linda’s first show with Iron Age Theatre and she’s delighted to be part of this talented ensemble. She’s been a featured actress in many area theaters for over 15 years. Some of her favorite roles have included Edna in “Light Sensitive,” Martha in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf,” Beatrice in “View from the Bridge,” Maggie in Jake’s Women, Pfeni in “Sisters Rosensweig,” and Lily in “Ah, Wilderness.” Besides her theater work, Linda is an independent marketing coordinator for ACNEnergy and serves as volunteer president of Stray Cat Blues, Inc, a non-profit, no-kill rescue for stray cats and kittens.

Steve Hatzai (Ferris) Steve has been involved in theatre as an actor, director, technician and educator for over forty years. He has appeared onstage at the Folger Theatre in Washington, the 45th St. Theatre in Manhattan, at InterAct, Society Hill Playhouse, Peoples Light and Theatre. Hedgerow and Villanova Theatre in Philadelphia and at Touchstone Theatre, Muhlenberg Summer Theatre, Civic Theatre, Theatre Outlet, the Pennsylvania Stage Company and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in the Lehigh Valley.
Steve’s most recent performances include Rory in Lafferty’s Wake at the Society Hill Playhouse, Hucklebee in The Fantasticks at Hedgerow and Muhlenberg Summer Theatre, and Jacob Marley in Peoples Light and Theatre’s “A Christmas Carol”. He first appeared with Iron Age as Weston, in Sam Shepard’s Curse of the Starving Class and is pleased to be back for this wonderful play. He is especially happy to be working onstage with his wife, Linda Newsted, once again.

Melissa diLeonardo (Darlene) Melissa diLeonardo is pleased working again with Iron Age after appearing as Curley’s Wife in last fall’s production of Of Mice and Men. She is a BFA graduate from Hofstra University, NY. Since relocating to Philadelphia she has worked with The People’s Light and Theatre Company, Philadelphia Theatre Company & Delaware Theatre Company/Young Playwrights Festivals, Walnut Street Theatre, Eternal Spiral Project, Deep Sea Theatre, and Thread Company.

Linda Newsted (Goldie) Linda completed Villanova’s M.A. program in 1994, honored with a scholarship for continuing study. She appeared in Villanova Theatre seasons as Val in Caryl Churchill’s Fen (ACTF nomination); Sarah, beleaguered wife of Job, in Sherwood Anderson’s J.B.; Thea in Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler; and a long list of graduate showcase productions – favorites included Man and Superman, In the Shadow of the Glen, a gender-reversed A Doll’s House, Uncle Vanya, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and The Jewish Wife. More recently, Linda appeared in season four of Lafferty’s Wake at Society Hill Playhouse and studied with Drucie McDaniel at The Actor’s Center. Other experience over 30 years includes directing, teaching and costume design. Linda is having fun working with her husband Steve.

Susan Paige Lane (Luella): Susan appeared in last season's Terra Nova with Iron Age Theatre at The Centre Theater. Since moving to Philadelphia, Susan has worked with The Brick Playhouse, AGProductions, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights Festival. Previously, Susan was a company member of The Phoenix Theatre Circle in Columbus, Ohio. She received her BFA in performance from the University of Memphis. Some of her favorite roles include: HARPER in Angels in America, Part II: Perestroika, LILY in Lily's Crossing and HESTER PRYNNE in The Scarlet Letter.

John Fidler (Dewey): Iron Age patrons may remember John as Curley in Of Mice and Men and as Bowers in Terra Nova. Since moving to Philly two years ago, John has also worked with The Azuka Theatre Collective, the Vagabond Acting Troupe and The Brick Playhouse. Credits include Romeo & Juliet, Our Town, Arcadia, The Hot’l Baltimore and The Time of Your Life.

Markus L. Zanders (Melvin) Markus most recently appeared in the Iron Age productions of Terra Nova and Of Mice and Men. Although he hails from the Philly area and is a graduate of Temple University, Markus has tramped across the states performing at the Blue Ridge Theater Festival in the Complete History of America…. Abridged in Pittsburgh performing It's a Wonderful Life and Little Rock. He's also toiled as a Mad Scientist in San Diego California and can be seen in television ads across the country as "The Goodwill Guy." for Goodwill Industries. He was part of the world premiere production of I'll Be Seeing You at the Kimmel Center. He recently completed filming Close Quarters for Transorb Pictures.
