This production is the wonderful Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein 11 Oklahoma with all the exciting music and delightful story of the plains in the midwest of our country. It has been written for student voices but is all the music you remember including Surrey With the Fringe on Top, People Will Say We’re in Love and of course, the title song, Oklahoma. The conflict between the cowboys and farmers is the theme throughout this production and the relationships between Ante Eller, Curly, Laurey and Jud keep the audience wondering who will win the hand of Laurey. The comic characters of Will and Ado Annie, who “Cain’t Say No”, keep the audience laughing.
